The choice of police raids on commercial cannabis farms has fallen by over 17% within the closing year, Freedom of Files figures suggest.
Jamie Barnes, from Dagenham, used to be convicted in 2015 of cannabis cultivation after he grew the drug in his council flat. He used to be given a suspended sentence and probation. He informed the Victoria Derbyshire programme he used to be more nervous concerning the prospect of being robbed by fellow criminals than being caught by police.
